Visitors may only access the areas of the submarine that are approved and indicated for visitors. Access to any non-public areas of the submarine is explicitly denied and visitors will free U-Bootmuseum Hamburg GmbH of any liability if doing so.

Due to security issues, the tour trough the submarine is possible in the direction indicated only.

Smoking is prohibited on the entire submarine. Consumption of any food or drinks brought along is strictly forbidden.

It is not allowed to carry along pets, tools, bulky objects and big bags. Those are to be deposited outside the submarine at own’s risk. There are no compulsory safe keeping obligations for the museum.

For your own security the submarine is under CCTV surveillance. Every theft and every damage of property or any other wilful damage to the submarine or its equipment will be reported to the police and the causer will have to compensate the damage occurred.
